16 Nov 2011 ITCS J. Humphries, Chapter President called the meeting to order.

Members present: ITCS Humphries, CMC Moan, YNC Jacobs, OSC Watkins,  ETC Padlo, DCC Gohier, BMC Satterfield, HSC Pena, Don Stevens (USAF Ret.)

þ  OLD BUSINESS:

Latest Adopt-A-Highway function completed successfully, thanks to Jan Freeman, BMC Hunt, OSC Watkins, MKCS Strecker, and the 2011 PCPOs for thier participation.  The next Adopt-A-Highway function will occur in spring 2012. 

þ  NEW BUSINESS:

Voted to donate $410 to the organization Lift Court.  This organization supports foster children in the Port Angeles community and our donation will go towards providing 41 foster children christmas stockings at the annual Lift Court Christmas dinner. This is the Port Angeles CPOAs second year supporting this great initiative.

2011 CCTI completed. Still awaiting cost break-downs, should know by next meeting but hoping to have broken even this year on funding.

Voted to begin selling breakfast burritos out of the 32 Lounge once a month as a fund-raiser for the CPOA.

Have 5 Safeway gift cards left for any junior members whose Chief has determined they could use a little extra help around the holidays. See YNC Jacobs for a card if needed.  Voted to purchase additional cards as needed.

Discussed approaching local vendors for donations for service members in need.  HSC Pena volunteered to make contact with store managers to see if viable.

American Legion meets every second Thursday in Sequim and would love to see more of us join.

City of PA has a bell ringing ceremony at 1300 on the last Friday of every month to honor Clallum County veterans who have passed on during the month.  This is attended each month by Airsta/SFO CO and CMC but any Chief is welcome to attend.  Uniform is trops unless otherwise noted.
